Paint Can Art By Bob

My friend and neighbor took a picture of my paint can (which holds the paint thinner) and my pallet which were sitting on a small table in my garage studio.  After seeing how colorful and great the photo was, I decided to paint it with a few additions, including the wine glass.  I originally titled it" Artists Tools.  No comment on which tool is the most used! The name PaintCanArtByBob just came to me out of the blue!

Pua's Ocean

This ocean painting is named after a good Hawaiian friend of mine, Pua Rochlen.  Pua is a business owner, (Jams World) and also a Big Wave surfer. I was invited to go out many years ago by Pua , to participate in the opening ceremonies of the Eddie Aikau sponsored by Quicksilver.  I asked how do I get out and the reply was, "We'll tow you out."  And about getting back?..."You ride it back meaning..surf back.  Eh, no.  The waves were firing off above 30 ft!  Ole Dad is not stupid.

Stormy Seas

Ivan Aivazovsky is widely regarded as the world's greatest seascape artists.  Born in the Crimea, his paintings of the storms in the Black Sea are spectacular.  A collection of his work inspired the feeble attempt.  This piece is  60 x 60 inches.

The Mallard And The Dog

This retriever belongs to a friend of mine friend.  The original photo was so great, I painted it as a surprise for his Christmas present.  2nd time I've ever painted a dog.  The first was our Rosey.

If I was a Hummingbird, this is where I'd like to be.
