| This ocean painting is named after a good Hawaiian friend of mine, Pua Rochlen. Pua is a business owner, (Jams World) and also a Big Wave surfer. I was invited to go out many years ago by Pua , to participate in the opening ceremonies of the Eddie Aikau sponsored by Quicksilver. I asked how do I get out and the reply was, "We'll tow you out." And about getting back?..."You ride it back meaning..surf back. Eh, no. The waves were firing off above 30 ft! Ole Dad is not stupid. |
